The Working Group of Nursing in Electrophysiology
and Cardiac Stimulation belongs to the Spanish Association of
Nursing in Cardiology (AEEC), a non-profit association, founded in
1977 and formed by nurses who work in all the cardiology fields.
The Working Group is composed of all the AEEC

different treatment devices against tachycardia and bradycardia. The
Working Group currently consists of over a hundred members
throughout the Spanish territory.
The promotion, coordination and oversight of the
studies within nursing in cardiac electrophysiology and stimulation,
as well as the promotion of progress, practice and scientific
research, are some of the goals of the Working Group.
The Working Group maintains a commitment to
continuing education for nurses dedicated to scientific research in
the field of cardiac arrhythmias and the treatment devices against
tachycardia and bradycardia, by organizing and participating in
several scientific meetings that are held in conjunction with the
Section of Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias and the Section of
Cardiac Stimulation of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC). |
