The Joanna Briggs Institute takes great pleasure in inviting you
to attend its biennial 2009 International Convention, to be held
at the Hyatt Regency in the stunning city of Adelaide, South
Australia, 18 – 20 November 2009!
The 2009 convention is themed Ripples to Revolution: from bench
to bedside. We’ve specially designed the event to bring together
evidence-based researchers and reviewers, guideline developers,
clinicians, educators, policy makers, administrators and
consumers from all over the world to work toward an integrated
approach to improving global health care using evidence-based
guidelines.
We expect over 600 delegates to come together and celebrate the
accomplishments of the evidence-based healthcare revolution!
Throughout the convention, delegates will focus on envisioning
the future so that the rippling effect of practical change in
clinical settings can continue to help improve healthcare across
the world. We hope you are able to join us in Adelaide for what
promises to be a fantastic event and collaboration!

The
European Journal of Cardiovascular
Nursing (EJCN) is the International Journal of the
European Society of Cardiology (ESC) dedicated to the
advancement of knowledge in the field of cardiovascular nursing:
promoting evidence based clinical practice.
The journal publishes original articles, short report reviews
and editorials in order to improve the quality of nursing care
for patients with cardiovascular disease.
Original
contributions on the broad field of cardiovascular nursing are
welcome, including chronic an acute care, paediatric cardiology,
grown up congenital heart disease, cardiac rehabilitation,
primary and secondary prevent, heart failure, acute coronary
syndromes, interventional cardiology, cardiac care, preventive
cardiology, and vascular nursing. Scientific contributions can
be related to all aspects of care: education, research, patient
care or organisational aspects. Additional contributions on
epidemiology, physiology, pharmacology or psychology related to
cardiovascular nursing are welcome.

The Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions
(CCNAP) was officially launched in Barcelona on the 5
September 2006. The Council has been developed from the
Working Group on Cardiovascular Nursing (established in
1991).
In order to build a strong organisation we need highly
competent and active professionals who are willing to commit
themselves to this important and exciting development. We
would like to invite all professionals that are interested
in our field to join CCNAP. You can

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) represents nearly
55,000 cardiology professionals across Europe and the
Mediterranean. The ESC comprises 5 Associations, 5 Councils,
19 Working Groups and 50 National Cardiac Societies. It also
includes the distinguished community of ESC Fellows and
Nurse Fellows.
