Abstract

The patients with chronic angina (class III-IV), in which the possibility of active treatment has discarded and are in the limit of the pharmacological treatment, have a terrible life quality. The transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENs) can be a useful helping procedure in these patients who do not respond to the conventional treatment. It is a simple procedure, applied by the own patients at their homes, that improves the symptoms and, thus, improves the life quality. The patients who use TENs seem to have less number of incomes.
