Short-stay of patients who undergo programmed cardiac catheterization. |
Abstract |
Cardiac catheterization is a routine test in constant increase at work. Misalignments produced by this increase force us to develop management skills that allow to admit all patients who need cardiac catheterization, and to favor patients well-being. The main objectives of this study are: 1. To dimish compression time. 2. To diminish the hospital stay. 3. To obtain collaboration with patients and their families. 4. To keep informed and to improve safety for patients and families. We have developed a protocol of nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization in programmed short-stay care. |
