Nursing process and care basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation in suckling babies and children.

Abstract

Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation in pediatric ages develops an ensamble of standard patterns for the treatment of cardiac respiratory arrest in suckling babies and children. These patterns are different in many ways from those of adults. The CPR techniques should be done in a proper and quick way, and they should be also diffused through teaching. In this work we analyse: 1) the causes of cardiac respiratory arrest in suckling babies and children; 2) aims to accomplish related to those causes; 3) evaluation of each case and bibliographic review; 4) description of standard behaviors for pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
