Influence of the physical exercise in the prevalence of the cardiovascular risk factors in the people of Seville (Spain).

Abstract

Admitting that the practice of physical regular exercise prevents the appareance of coronary disease, observing the proliferation of sports facilities and the increasing number of person that practise physical activity regularly, we try to analyze if the motive that leads people to practising physical exercise is to try to control cardiovascular risk factors and the other hand, to verify if this practice reduce the presence of these factors.
We applied to 500 persons in differents sports facilities of our city, a questionnaire with 37 questions corresponding to the variables of interest of our study. The obtained conclusions are that mental well-being and aesthetics are more important motives, it put before of the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. On the other hand, one of the risk factors that reduce more with practice of the continued exercise is the level of stress.
